Taco Boy's: Authentic Mexican Flavor in Phoenix

Very friendly fast paced atmosphere. Best tacos we've had since Texas!!!

Taco Boys makes a tasty taco. I had the pastor and my wife had an asada taco. Small place inside but found a table. We enjoyed the toppings bar. Weren’t fans of only getting the one shell with our tacos. They came plenty full to fill a second shell with the fall out. Overall a good experience and definitely would go back.

We found this location as a recommended place to eat online while visiting AZ. This place didn't disappoint. It was a little small space to navigate parking wise but we were able to get a parking spot. There was a little line when we got there but it moved quickly. We placed our orders and while waiting helped ourselves to the free condiments area. Our order was ready in under 10 minutes. We took the food to go. It was even more crowded when we left. The food was very good. The large quesadillas were huge and fulfilling. I had to eat my chicken quesadilla in 2 settings. The condiments and sauces were fresh ...we enjoyed the quesadillas and tacos we ordered. It was good and authentic Mexican food.

Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend and the beans are gas too! They do not skimp on thier portions. You will hardly be able to fold your taco because the fill it to the max. Its kind of smoky inside so if your lungs are sensitive sit outside. They are fast and efficient but friendly at the same time. The quesadillas are my favorite

Went here based on several recommendations. I was looking for a local spot that has great authentic tacos. Boy was I not disappointed! Their food was amazing! I got the carnitas, cabeza, and asada tacos. They cook the meat on an open charcoal flame and was thoroughly impressed with the food. Forgot to take a photo of the food when I got it but I took a picture of the grill. Great atmosphere, great food! A must visit.

Amazing tacos. Super quick service, great food and salsa/toppings bar. Highly recommend for a quick meal in Phoenix. Cabeza, Al pastor, carne asada tacos were all fantastic.

I stopped by Taco Boy's and ordered the Asada/Pastor burrito, and let me just say — this thing delivered. From the first bite, you could taste the quality of the meat. The carne asada was tender, perfectly seasoned, and had that fresh-off-the-grill char that gives it real flavor. The al pastor added a whole different dimension — slightly sweet, smoky, and juicy, with that classic marinade done right. The combination of the two meats together was absolute perfection. The tortilla was warm and soft, wrapped tight without falling apart halfway through like some places. Every bite had a solid balance of meat, rice, beans, and toppings — no skimping and no overload of filler. You could tell everything was fresh and made with care, not just thrown together in a rush. The flavors blended incredibly well — savory, slightly sweet, with just enough kick. Add a little salsa and it takes it to another level. This is the kind of burrito that actually satisfies you and leaves you thinking about it later. If you're debating on what to get at Taco Boy's, the Asada/Pastor burrito is a no-brainer. Big flavor, generous portions, and done right. I’ll definitely be back for this one.

This place was recommended by my co-worker. I did order through a delivery service however the food was delicious. I ordered 2 tacos with all the veggies 1 was steak and the other was the shredded beef. Veggies were fresh and I loved that the flour tortilla was not a thick dough. Was just right, I'll be back soon.
